Welcome to Protect Mass Children

_______________________________________________________________________

Massachusetts ranks #1 for the highest rate of confirmed cases of child abuse and neglect in the country ~ U.S. Department of Health and Human Services - 2007, 2008, 2009

The most common age a child is sexually abused is between ages 8 and 12

* 1 in 4 girls are sexually abused before the age of 14

* 1 in 6 boys are sexually abused before the age of 14

If you think sex abuse can't happen in your family, think again!

*  80% of sexual assaults occur at the home; 49% in broad daylight

We need your help to protect the children of Massachusetts

Please call your Senator and State Representative and urge them to support our legislation to protect children from child predators
