2 DAYS TO SAVE A CHILD

Are you a parent? Do you have nieces, nephews, or grandchildren? What would you do to protect your child from sexual abuse?

Protect Mass Children is asking everyone to please sacrifice just 2 days to help save the children of Massachusetts.

We need your support at the Statehouse for just 2 days, September 20th and September 27th -

It's a small sacrifice to potentially save a child's life.

The Massachusetts Judiciary Committee has granted Protect Mass Children two hearings for our proposed legislation. Our bills call for strong mandatory sentences for pedophiles and life sentences for repeat offenders. The hearings are scheduled for September 20th & 27th at 1PM in room A-1 at the Statehouse on Beacon Street in Boston.

Please join us at the Statehouse at 11AM to rally for the kids.

Senate Bill S884 will be heard by the Judiciary Committee in Room B-2 on September 20th at 1PM:

S884 calls for:

* 15-year mandatory sentence for rape of a child under 16,

* 30 years mandatory for rape of a child under 16 with aggravating factors

* Life sentence no parole for 3 time sex offense convictions

House Bills H1388, H1389 and H1390 will be heard by the Judiciary Committee on September 27th in room A-1 at 1PM 

** House Bill 1388 calls for 30 year mandatory sentence for rape of a child 13 years old or younger ** House Bill 1389 calls for life sentence with no parole for 2nd conviction of rape of a child 13 years old or younger

** House Bill 1390 calls for life sentence no parole for 3 time sex offense convictions.
