You can help increase the number of supporters of strong mandatory sentences. We depend on volunteers like you to help us increase the amount of support-- which lets us grow larger and more effective, so that we can call upon as many people as possible to sign the petition necessary some of the strongest child protection legislation in the nation.
Interested? Here's the process:
1. Print the sign-up form below, and use it to have interested people sign up to support us. College campuses, festivals, rallies, and parties are some of the best locations. College students can simply carry our sign-up sheets with them to their classes, the student union building, and various activist meetings. Be creative!
2. Mail the completed hard-copy subscription sheets to: Protect Mass Children, P.O. Box 1207 , Lynnfield, MA. 01940.
Guidelines:
- Make sure people understand that they are agreeing to sign a petition for strong mandatory sentences for sex offenders. They will be added to our e-mail list. (We don't want to be spammers!) Protect Mass Children.org sends messages to its e-mail list every month. The content of the messages usually contains short news updates on late-breaking developments about our initiative.
- Ask people to sign up in their own handwriting; we use this process to ensure people are signing themselves up of their own volition.
- Because Protect Mass Children.org promises supporters that their personal information will not be shared with other organizations, participation in this program indicates that you agree to hold all collected data confidential and not to share or copy the sign-up sheets.
